Images have to be in certain formats, depending on what you intend to do with them. If they are too large for uploading to a website or incompatible with a certain program, then you should look for a specialized application to convert them. Contenta Converter offers a quick and simple solution for oversized or incompatible images, as well as other issues which you may encounter when working with pictures. The software provides support for many image formats, it comes with RAW processing capabilities and other useful features.

Contenta Converter can be used free of charge for one month, after which you have to purchase a license. It is available for Windows and Mac OS X platforms and it can be installed in a few moments. The software's hardware requirements should not be a challenge for any modern day computer.

It should not take more than a minute to explore the user interface and learn its controls. Everything is laid out in a logical manner, so you won't have any difficulties locating a specific feature. Images can be imported individually, but you can also import entire folders, along with their sub-folders. Once your images are loaded, you may click a Next button in order to proceed to the program's core functions.

Besides converting images, you can also resize and rename them, create a photo album, in PDF or PostScript format, process RAW images, add special effects and watermarks and edit the metadata of your pictures. All operations can be prepared on the same window, but on separate pages. In most cases, you only need to click check boxes, select options in drop menus or drag a few sliders. If you decide to rename your imported images, you can choose one or more wildcards to rename everything in a single run.

As you prepare one or more operations, Contenta Converter will display a size preview, in the lower left corner of the interface, so you can see if your processed pictures will take up more or less disk space. When everything is ready, you can hit the Start button, located in the lower right corner of the main window, and the program will start processing all imported images. Once it completes the procedure, Contenta Converter will display a series of statistics, like the number of processed files, before and after sizes or errors and you can also preview the images themselves and the created photo albums.
